From John Oshlick:
04/26/13 - Bethany, Lake Chamberlain -- PROTHONOTARY WARBLER.  The
bird gave excellent views. I have no doubts about the ID. The bird was
seen on the south west side of the lake where a small stream
intersects the road around the lake. Once again YOU NEED A WATER
COMPANY PASS TO HIKE THE TRAILS!

From Tina Green:
04/26/13 - Westport, Burying Hill Beach -- 2 White-winged Scoters, 3
Northern Gannets.
Westport, Sherwood Island SP -- Brown Creeper, 2 Brown Thrashers (1 in
spruce grove & 1 on west side of park).

From Roy Harvey:
04/26/13 - Beacon Falls, industrial park off Rt 42 -- 6:15 to 7:30; 2
(possibly more) Brown Thrashers.
Oxford, Naugatuck State Forest, reservoir #1 just off Rt 42 -- 7:30 to
8:45; 1 singing Winter Wren.

From Paul Desjardins:
04/26/13 - Bloomfield and/or Avon, Fisher Meadow Park -- Brown
Thrasher and adult male Orchard Oriole.
West Hartford, Reservoir 6 -- singing Winter Wren.

From John Johnson:
04/26/13 - South Kent, yard -- Winter Wren.

From Peter and Deborah Brokofsky:
04/26/13 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- Brown Thrasher sighted
and  heard singing along the marsh side of the road on the way to
Meig's Point.  Ruth  O'Keefe joined in for the sighting of the
American Bittern; in the marsh behind The Nature Center (below the
parking lot).
