From Paul and Maureen Wolter: 08/15/14 - Madison, Hammonasset Beach State Park -- 6 PM; From the Moraine Trail, 1 Marbled Godwit in the marsh and 3 Black Terns feeding in the river. From Dan Rottino and Jim Carr: 08/15/14 - Madison, Hammonasset Beach SP -- 7:30 PM; 1 MARBLED GODWIT in the marsh off pebble beach and the morraine trail. We had good views for awhile, then we lost it when we moved down the trail. 3 BLACK TERNS seen by Dan in the river and also off the beach.
