Hi All,

We are no longer land-locked in MO.  Will be heading to Houston in a
week to pick up "OUR WAY" and head for KY Lake.  Our plan is to stick
to the Gulf intercoastal and moor in or near Marinas at night.  Can
anyone tell us about locations along the Louisianna coast?  Any and
all thoughts on getting through the area are appreciated.

Today is your lucky day!!

See our web site  for some  good  info,  even if I do say so , including but
not limited to the following:

OVERNIGHT STOPS ON THE INTRACOASTAL IN LOUISIANA

MILEMARKERS ON  THE LOUISIANA ICW

CROSSING THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER AT NEW ORLEANS

THE LOCKS OF LOUISIANA

DELIVERY TRIP CHECK LIST

See also  the article CORPUS CHRISTY as it covers the InTRAcoastal from
Galveston Eastward.
Should you decide to dawdle  around New Orleans  there are several articles
about  Lake Pontchartrain and  also  the Mississippi  Gulf Coast. The latter
covers  a number of stops  in Mississippi Sound.
There are also articles on Mobile Bay , the Tenn.-Tom; Tenn. River;  and
Cumberland River up to Kentucky Lake.

We are next to Morgan City, La. which is  a good stop.  Do fuel up in
Intercostals City as  the SHELL MORGAN DOCK has the cheapest fuel by far.
Tie up is $10 /nt.

If you need anything else let us know.
