Dear Listees

Please continue to let everyone know about websites of special boating
interest. The vast majority would be able to access websites. Others can
look at sites from any friend''s computer or pay a small amount at a
computer shop to do so.

To continue to effectively use the net we will all need to adopt HTML and
encourage the unlimited bandwidth available in other countries such as New
Zealand. Expect your email to be only available in full moving colour with
sound within 3 years.

Even old salts need to move with the times. Hands up those who still won't
accept that new-fangled internal combustion engine.

I just ran across a website I think worthy of sending
to everyone on the list. It is a surveyor in Florida
who put much of his work up on the net. It talks of
blisters, window leaks, engine problems, some high
level surveys of specific boats, among other things.

Tell your friend to join the list and post his knowledge as TEXT.
There are quite a few of us who do not wish to surve and waste
valuable bandwidth. Those are the ones who cruise and use things like
e-mail/ cellular only. We simply do not look at http stuff.
