It seems that Canada is not too friendly towards us "Yanks".They boo our
national anthem.
They dont want us to have our booze or our guns all they seem to like is our
tourist $.
Maybe it's time to boycott Canada for a wlile and see if they can become more
tolerant
of their neighbors.

Let's stop generalizing about our Northern Neighbor. Their Customs officers
are no more indicative of the attitudes of Canadians than our Customs
officers represent the warmth of the American people. If you haven't visited
Canada and experienced the people's welcome, don't make comments.

Try to remember that the Canadian Embassy Security Officer and Canadian
diplomats were the only people to get out our embassy staffers in Tehran.
They did so at great personal risk using forged Canadian passports. It was
Canadian snipers working with Delta snipers who rescued a company of the
101st when they were pinned-down in Afghanistan. Canada sent more than
snipers to Afghanistan, but they don't want it talked about.

Canada has rules that we may not like, but they are a sovereign nation - get
used to it. The United States has rules that we don't like - work to change
them. But don't just spout out your dismay at this or that - see it as part
of a much bigger picture. While you're at it, be thankful that they are our
Northern Neighbor - even if they do send us all that bad weather.
