Hi All
It is now the time to make my finale decision on the cooling of this new
boat. I wish to keep all salt water out of this boat. I.E. Keel cooling for
both engines and both generators as well. I now understand we can even keel
cool the air conditioning. Do you think I can keep all salt water out of my
engine room? Do you have experiences with keel cooling? Good or Bad!

It is my understanding that keel coolers don't work well on generators

when you are at anchor.  They need water flowing over them. This was told to
me by a manufacturer who uses keel cooling for the engine , but not for the
generator.

I echo this sentiment. I am pulling together ideas for my new boat, and
this is at the top of my list.
I would like to hear pros and cons.

Why couldn't you air cool the generator with a small radiator up on top
somewhere? Also, If you have a big enough keel cooler it shouldn't be a
problem, but I don't know.
