Greetings George,
-How about Jay Benford's SOLARIUM 44, which is a beautiful design, 44ft x 12 x
3, pilothouse, separate nav station, two staterooms (fwd and midship), two
heads (one with tub/shower), full galley and aft is a living/dining area in a
mahogany panelled solarium, about 14ft x 10 with close to 7ft headroom,
powered by small 44hp Yanmar that reaches hull speed 7.5kn with abt 22 hp at
2800 rpm (top 3600rpm). Fuel burn is abt 0.9gal/hr and potential range abt
2000mi with 250 gal for fuel and same for water. Partial to this design since
we have one, DUCHESS.

-Gulfstar, which blv also has a 44 or 45ft model with fwd/aft accomodations,
mid living area and fly bridge.
-Mirage's Navigator 37 (including flybridge)
-Nordic Tug 26 (no longer being built, but great pocket yacht, over 100 at
least)
-and Selene's new 36ft model, Archer (interesting design/layout)

All the best,
John Sylvester

All hands--

I'm aiming to compile a comprehensive directory of trawler yachts
currently in production as well as those no longer being built. By
trawler yachts, I mean to powerboats purpose-built for cruising and
voyaging. By production, I mean more than two built.

I invite you to review the beginning of such a directory

http://members.rogers.com/waterworld/universe.html

and to provide feedback and input at the address show on the page.

I'm compiling the directory as the first step in a census we plan to
undertake at the new site TrawlersAndTrawlering.com, and also for
polling purposes--as the List will soon see.
