Cruising America's Great Loop and other inland routes
View all threadsWell all I can think to say is... Duh!
Of course if you want to work with the concept then the concept of being part of a coop means that you can save enough money while cruising locally to afford the fuel on a long trip. Or, perhaps that not everyone in the coop is out cruising all the time, or they are paying one/more members to 'actually make the fuel' while you're out cruising and if the coop is large enough you can afford to deliver the fuel to everyone in the coop for a rather large distance, or if many coops are started at many locations then you can 'trade fuel credits' from area to area, or you can create a 'joint venture' with the 100s of coops already out there and buy from them while away from your local area. Or... just buy the from the docks... that's easy right.
Of course you are really must not be considering the barge you can tow that stores the feedstock and has the production equipment on it. -:) and hey, you can include a nice workshop on there too with a top deck area for parties and a hottub... right?

Its not all that easy when you are living aboard and cruising full time, such
as doing "the Loop".
