'Dawgs,

With the regular season over, it's time for the playoffs where the top 12 dawgs face off to determine 2011's Top Dawg.  The top twelve point leaders were:

  1. Adimoolam, Nicodemus (tie)
  2. Kuwata
  3. Allen, Melniker (tie)
  4. King
  5. Schnetter
  6. Postel
  7. Newport
  8. Maretsky
  9. Rafferty
  10. Trundy

For seeding purposes, we break ties using 1) events played, 2) Ryder Cup points, and finally if necessary a coin flip.  Nicodemus beat out Adimoolam on events played to take the 1st seed and Melniker beat Allen on Ryder Cup points to take the 4th seed.  You can see the entire bracket at http://www.road-dawgs.org, then click the "Click to view complete playoff bracket" link.

The first four matches (to be completed by 10/31) are:

Postel vs. Newport
Allen vs. Trundy
King vs. Rafferty
Schnetter vs. Maretsky

As with all Road Dawgs' events the opponents play off their LI.  You are free to play the match on any course that you and your opponent can agree on.  If you can't agree, then you must play the match from the upcoming year's Saturday Team Play venue, e.g. from the Babe Blues.  Finally, mail the results of your matches to "postel@road-dawgs.org"

Good Luck to all!

Paul and Murali
