Hi everyone!

My name is Tanya Franchini and I'm a librarian with the Pasadena Public Library in CA. I am a member of our library's Disability Advocacy Workgroup. So far, our program offerings have primarily been focused on adults and children. We're looking for local groups/organizations that work with tweens and teens with disabilities that we can connect with to learn what programs and resources they'd be interested in seeing at the library so that we can make useful and meaningful connections.

We're currently connecting with the following organizations:

Ability First
*
Villa Esperanza
*
Redesign Learning /IRL

If you have experience with other organizations nearby (San Gabriel Valley) that might be good connections, say the word!

I'd also love to hear about any programs you've offered for tweens and teens/young adults with disabilities that went over well at your library.

Looking forward to hearing back and learning lots!

Sincere thanks,

Tanya Franchini
