Jesús Montoya
Jesús Montoya is from Seville, Spain. Born into the one of the oldest Gypsy
families. Jesus was steeped in flamenco purity and power, earning him the
name  El Rey Del Fandangos Grande at age 7 and by age 9 he had started his
professional singing career.

By age 13, he had started to tour with various professional companies.

He was the featured singer for the legendary Fernanda Romero, Isabel Vargas,
Andres Marin, Pepe Rios, La Cipri & Manuela Salazar, Juan Ogalla, Alejandro
Granados, Isabel Lopez, Omayra Amaya, Ciro, Juaquin Ruiz, Esrella Moreno, La
Truco, Carmela Greco, Pepa Montes, Manolete, Jose Galvan and many more.

Now a true master of the flamenco arts, Jesús is a man of overwhelming
integrity who sets a paramount high standard both in self expectation and in
those who work with him. In addition to his Spanish and European touring
credentials, he has toured tirelessly with major flamenco companies
throughout the United States and Canada to sold out audiences including:
Jose Greco, Maria Benitez, La Tania, Yaelisa & Caminos Flamencos, and with
the best guitarists in the United States including  Chuscales, Pedro Cortes,
Jason McGuire, Roberto Castellon, Ricardo Marlow, and Jose Tanaka.

.In addition to being the one most respected and sought after touring
flamenco singers brought to the US, he continues to perform with his own
flamenco company Pureza Flamenca, widely known for putting on some of the
greatest and most exciting flamenco shows worldwide. This award winning 11
member company of distinguished flamenco artists are nothing less than
brilliant.
Savannah Fuentes,  born in Seattle to parents of Irish and Puerto Rican
ancestry,  discovered Flamenco in the Belltown district of Seattle years
ago. Upon hearing the palmas( flamenco percussive clapping), she fell in
love..She has studied with artists such as Joaquin Grilo, Belen Maya,
Cristobal Reyes, and La Tati, but Savannah has spent more time in a
studio on Capital Hill, where Maestra Sara de Luis teaches, than in
Spain. Sara de Luis has played a critical role in Savannah's development as
an artist. it is was in Sara's class that Savannah met fellow dancer  Dr.
Veronica Barrera. With Dr. Barrera She began to perform and learn to work
with guitarists and singers. Savannah has since produced performances and
organized workshops throughout Washington and Oregon, She believes that
Cante is the soul of  art form and should be treated with reverence and
respect.
Gerardo Alcala New Orleans born Flamenco guitarist Gerardo Alcala is one of
the few foreigners to be respected as a full-fledged Flamenco artist by the
gypsy Flamencos of Andalucia, among whom he lived the authentic Flamenco
lifestyle for many years. He learned his art from the masters: Rafael el
Aguila, Parrilla de Jerez, Niño Jero, Rafael Alarcón, Eduardo de la Malena,
and Pedro Bacan. In the intimate closed-door sessions, or Juergas, where the
pure sould of Flamenco, el Duende, can surge forth in all its savage beauty,
he has spent countless hours accompanying great gypsy singers such as
Agujetas, Gitano de Bronce, El Garbanzo, El Monea, Salmonete, Chato de la
Isla, Dolores, Antonio, Luis, Diego, El Gordo, and Paco Agujetas, and many
others. He has performed professionally in major theatres on three
continents, including Carnegie Hall, as well as for television, radio and
film. In the U.S. he toured extensively with the Spanish dance companies of
Jose Molina and Teo Morca and did many recitals with the legendary Anzonini
del Puerto. In Spain he performed with the all-gypsy company of Fernanda
Romero and has had particularly long and close relationship with the
Agujetas family, including Manuel Agujetas, who has preserved the deepest
and purest singing in Spain. With them, he was featured as sole accompanist
in the prestigious Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid and the Dutch film
"Duende". In 1990 he was honoured to become the first North American ever to
be contracted to perform as a soloist in the Bienal de Sevilla, Spain’s most
important Flamenco Festival. In 1998 he accompanied Luis Agujetas on his CD
“Entre tu Tierra Y La Mia”. In 2000, he appeared accompanying Luis, Diego,
and Paco Aguetas in the film “El Turista Soy Yo”. In 2002 he was first
guitarist at Mexico’s most important tablao “gitanerias” and did a tour of
Spain and France accompanying the singer, Dolores Agujetas. Gerardo performs
both as a solo guitarist and with his group, Flamenco Alcala, (a singer and
one or two dancers). He is based in Vancouver, BC.
Veronica has been studying the Flamenco art form for the past 20 years, with
interruptions to birth two daughters and gain four academic degrees. She
began her studies with Dame Libby Komaiko of the Ensemble Español in Chicago
and has since studies with notable flamencos like, Ciro, La Tania, Belen
Maya, and Timo Lozano. She has performed in Olympia and Seattle for the past
ten years with Amorfo Flamenco and Carmona Flamenco. In 2004 she had the
privilege of performing in the Seattle Opera’s production of Carmen. Locally
she trains with Sara de Luis who she considers her biggest influence

Tyson Kikuo Hussey has had a long and rich experience with music and theater
since early childhood. After graduating from high school in 2001, he
traveled to Guatemala where he was introduced to Latin and Spanish culture.
Falling in love with the earthy tones of the Spanish guitar he began playing
classical and fingerstyle. After 6 months of living and traveling
extensively through Guatemala and Mexico with his guitar and little money,
he decided to return home. Upon finding a CD of la Fernanda y la Bernarda de
Utrera live in Paris with Paco del Gastor he fell in love with the sound of
flamenco. In 2003 he found a home in the enchanted Moorish city of Granada,
living in a small apartment in the Realejo in front of the taller of none
other than famous guitar maker Rafael Moreno and a block from the shop of
Manuel Bellido. There his true studies began, learning from singer Alfredo
Tejada, guitarist Luis Milan, and studying intensively under Marcos Garcia
"Palometas", Antonio Heredia " El Chonico", Paco Cortes, cantaor Jaime "el
Parron" (father of Marina Heredia), Juan Habichuela Nieto and Emilio Maya
among others. A year later he moved to Sevilla and enrolled in the
world-renowned Cristina Heeren Foundation of Flamenco and was given the
opportunity to study with teachers such as Raul Cantizano, Tino Van der
Sman, Manolo de la Luz, Eduardo Rebollar, and to accompany singers such as
Laura Vital and Jose de la Tomasa. He lived for many years in Sevilla, while
practicing one day by the Guadalquivir river he was approached by dancer
Bernardo de Barros and invited to move to Barcelona to perform with his
group, Anarko flamenco. He moved to Barcelona to work and continue his
studies of music and art. He has performed in various venues from the
Pacific Northwest to fine establishments throughout Europe. With credits
that include opening for the prime minister of the European Union in the
maritime museum on the island of Malta, and accompanying the famous turkish
flamenco singer Berk Gurman.
