I received this today and have not had time to verify the information because
all government offices are closed on the weekend. Has anyone heard anything
about Florida registration fees? And two years instead of one? Martin Veiner

Dear Boaters,
Mike Knapp passed on information that boat registration fees were to be
doubled beginning July 1.  I called Martin County and they said that this was
true but they had no definitive paperwork and nothing on their web page as
yet.  I called the state and they said that there will, indeed, be an increase
but they didn't know how much.

Since we are allowed to pay for two years, you might want to take care of this
before July 1st.  For many of us that could mean a couple hundred bucks
savings and put at least 30 gals of gas in the tank!

o;?
I just renewed mine.  The only option was for a year, but perhaps there will
be S change in July.  For June renewers, it looks like you will get just a
year.
