HI, BIRDERS.
I don't want to talk out of turn but in the absence
of any postings this note might be encouraging to the OFO .
On Thursday, at least 15 GOLDEN EAGLES passed the 'Cliff.
Today was much quieter, but two GOSHAWKS, one very close passed me.
The Counter had left .
So, Good birding to the group visiting tomorrow.

Don't like to contradict Alf Rider but I was fortunate to be with Keith
Sealy and Dave Verkely today as the Hawk Cliff count was carried out on
the Sparta Ridge, almost 4KM from the lake. We had over 1000 birds,
including 4 Bald and 4 Golden Eagles and a really neat dark-phase
Red-tailed Hawk (not Calurus). The flight was steady from 10:30AM to 2PM
Daylight time, then tapered off.
