Fairfield, off Pine Creek Road.

Subject: Connecticut Audubon Banding Demo results

We had nets open down on the Pine Creek wetlands area (near the old dump)
for two hours for our public demonstration netting 22 individuals of 10
species. Species were Palm Warbler, Common Yellowthroat, White-throated
Sparrow, House Wren, Eastern Phoebe, Swamp Sparrow, Northern Cardinal, Song
Sparrow, Field Sparrow and (drum roll) Brown Thrasher.
