I am looking for a welding / fabrication shop in the Toronto area to make a set of davits. I am helping a Canadian couple who have bought a boat in Tortola with a few projects, one of which is fabricating davits to a specific design, the design for which is being executed, full production drawings, by a marine engineer / yacht designer I use for project work. They would prefer to use Canadian dollars in Canada, given the exchange rate at the moment; sea shipping rates are down and it is about the same cost to ship from Florida to here as it is from Toronto. The davits will be fabricated using 3" or 4" stainless steel pipe and will require bending it. There will also be welded on attachments for a radar scanner and solar panels.
