I thought this was a serious forum dedicated to mutual support of fellow
boaters. Instead, I find it has become an avenue for some to form personal
attacks concerning the most insignificant of acts, email errors.

Please delete us from your list. We will no longer provide free diesel
engine technical support.

Lighten up Marty

Before you joined TWL the long posting and attachment issue was thoroughly
thrashed out. TWL is a rare forum in that a high percentage of the members
are receiving the list by slow and costly satellite, mobile phone and public
phone/portable modem e-mail systems. And these members are at the very
heart of the forum's purpose. It was decided a long time ago, with George
and his volunteer monitors to act as enforcer, that long posts, not snipping
and attachments were "verboten".

I agree with this policy. My e-mail arrives at the end of a lousy 20 mile
telephone line and its slow. I hate it when I wait and wait for a long
message to download and than find out it just junk.

I'm sure Mr. R. Nail (yes, these anonymous citizen's band type "handles" are
out of place on this forum) just made a mistake.  As did George with his
quick off the keyboard response. Big deal? Not really, two clicks on
the "X" in the toolbar handled the whole issue just fine for me.

Your contributions to the world's best yacht trawler forum are too valuable
to us to have you, or any member, leave over this matter.

OK, back to trawlering.
