From Jackson Childs: 05/31/14 - Chaplin, Pumpkin Hill Road -- While looking for Cerulean warblers today (saw a couple). I was on the trail at the second green gate going north. I had a brief but unmistakable look at a Yellow-throated warbler. Gray back, bold black face marking with white line above and behind, yellow throat. No doubt about it. I was so stunned I was unable to take a picture fast enough. I was not able to re-locate and I didn't hear it sing. Presumably a very late vagrant? This was about a hundred yards from the road. From Peter DeGennaro: 05/31/14 - Woodbridge, Woodbridge Community Gardens -- My sister Lauren and I had the Olive-sided Flycatcher northwest of the chestnut trees on top of a dead tree as of 10:15. Also had a Yellow-billed Cuckoo flyover near the garden plots. From Ernie Harris: 05/31/14 - Bolton Backyard -- 6-7 AM; Yellow-billed Cuckoo. From Dan Rottino: 05/31/14 - Kent, Housatonic River WMA -- 3:00 PM; A skulky YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT seen well from the path.
