and viewed at the entrance to the park on the sound side.

From Frank Gallo:
02/18/14 - Milford, Mondo Pond -- late afternoon; there was still a
small area of open water on the northwest side of the main lake. I was
pleasantly surprised to see a drake Redhead.

of the Moraine trail. One flew off to Clinton, second moved further
into the marsh after close encounter with a male Northern Harrier.

hunting at beginning of Moraine trail around 1:00 PM.

grove.

From Joe Bear:
02/16/14 - Norwalk -- while waiting in traffic on the off ramp of I95
at Exit 14, amidst a huge red dumpster, 2 large CAT backhoes, and a
couple of broken wooden pallets (an obvious prime birding spot) I
noticed a few birds milling around.  5 Snow Buntings feeding on the
barriers of hay put down during construction.  Go figure.
