I have a 1984 43’ Ocean Alexander Motoryacht that has an a/c unit installed in the console on the fly bridge and ducts downward into the salon. Works great. Although I have additional split a/c system also, here in Southern Lake Michigan the fly bridge unit keeps the boat comfortable by itself most of the time. Good luck.
