All hands--

Long-time Listee Luc Bernard, who works for Oviatt Marine in Florida, sent
me the following e-mail:

It's now my turn to go cruising!!  Diana and I should be in Toronto, Canada,
and through the Great Lakes this summer, then off to the Caribbean.  Who
knows, maybe Alaska after that!  We plan on a tour of three to five years.

Luc and Diana have a DeFever 48 they call Sea Lover IV.

As I invited them to stop by for a visit, I realized I should extened the
same invitation to anyone on the List who may be cruising Lake Ontario.

My home is in Pickering just east of Toronto, on Frenchman's Bay, a brief
walk from East Shore Marina. Make a note of my number--905-837-0102--and
give a call on your approach to Toronto. If I'm around, my custom is to
bring a terrific pizza down to visiting trawlers with a fine bottle of
Ontario red.

I can vouch for the accuracy of this statement. Georgs and a few
others thusly celebrated the arrival of Sadie-B in Frenchman's Bay
some fine summer day.

George of Scaramouche1, Frenchman's Bay (East Shore Marina)

P.s: For those so inclined, Ontario also brews some very good beer.
Gg, not at all opinionated  ;-)
