From Tina Green:
01/10/14 - Southport, Harbor Road -- Barnacle Goose sitting on the
water (with Canada Geese).
West Haven, East Brown St -- 5 Redheads continue, (4 drakes, 1 hen).

From Alexander Brash:
01/10/14 - Southport -- Barnacle Goose.

From Stefan Martin:
01/10/14 - Greenwich -- 2:50 PM; Snowy Owl visible from the west side
of Greenwich point. Bird was on the small island just east of island
beach. Scope was needed!

From Robert Hutton:
01/10/14 - New Haven, Long Wharf -- The Snowy Owl was located on the
rocky outcrop Sound side of Long Wharf pier this afternoon. I was
there for a little over an hour but had been there for half that time
before I saw the bird.

From Russ Smiley:
01/10/14 - Stratford, Raven Pond Park -- 1:00 PM; three Northern
Pintails (2m and 1f) and perhaps a fourth (male in odd plumage, no
long tail) resting among a couple hundred mallards at Raven Pond.
Additionally the hybrid mallard x pintail was there, too.

From Arthur Shippee:
01/10/14 - Hamden, North Lake Dr -- 50+ Rusty Blackbirds, mixed M & F
& mixed plumage.  There seem to be other smaller groups, too, one with
3 or 4 Rusty Blackbirds (with 3 Common Grackles).

From Dana Campbell:
01/10/14 - East Hartford, yard -- Brown Creeper climbing my backyard
maple tree.
