I used The Capn navigation software and when I purchased it I had the
Tenn-Tom and Blackwarior-Tombigbee waterways to Mobille included.  The ENCs
appear exactly as they do in the chart books.  There is no depth detail and
you'll have to use Skipper Bob's books and other crusing guides to find
suitable anchorages or marinas.

Skipper Bob's books were invaluable, but I also used another which is now on
the boat and I don't remember the name. Someone at Aqua Yacht Harbor gave it
to me and said I would need it for the trip and I sure did. If you'll e-mail
your address privately I'll mail it to you as long as you promise to pass it
on after your tirp.

I think Fred Myers "Nitty Gritty Tenn Tom" would be of great help. I'm a
very happy customer of his book.
Cheers,
Dick

Danny,
I used a Garmin 2010C with Mapquest software for electronic maps.. The
ones I have are road maps, fishing hotspots, and TOPO maps. One of the
charts actually shows the mile markers on parts of the Tennessee River.  For
guide books I used Fred Myers and  Skipper Bob's for navigation.  For
historical info I used Rumsay's Guide (which is outdated for Facilities) but
has good historical content.
Also, a must are the Corps of Engineers paper charts for the area.
