Join us April 22-24 in Seattle for the 2013 Cultural Congresshttp://www.culturalcongress.org/.

Being held in Seattle for the first time in years, the Cultural Congresshttp://culturalcongress.org is going to be a dynamic and exciting event. The keynote address will be presented by Bill Iveyhttp://culturalcongress.org/keynote/. Ivey is a respected author and thinker; was the founding director of the Curb Center for Art, Enterprise, and Public Policy at Vanderbilt University; and served as director of the National Endowment for the Arts. The Congress will also feature networking opportunities, great discussions, and workshops on technology, advocacy, participation, and innovation. It's a wow-packed conference that everyone in the cultural sector should attend.

This year we've also partnered with the folks who held the Arts & Social Change Symposium last October in order to continue that great conversation. The first day of the Congress will feature a special keynote address by Roberto Bedoya, Executive Director of the Tucson Pima Arts Council.

We've set up a new website for the Cultural Congress, visit www.culturalcongress.orghttp://culturalcongress.org for more information, registration, student pricing, and continuing updates! ArtsWA is providing scholarshipshttp://culturalcongress.org/scholarships-are-available/ for participants outside of King County - the deadline to apply is this Friday, March 29.

The Cultural Congress is supported by ArtsWAhttp://arts.wa.gov/, 4Culturehttp://www.4culture.org/, Seattle's Office of Arts and Cultural Affairshttp://www.seattle.gov/arts/, The Seattle Centerhttp://www.seattlecenter.com/, Theatre Puget Soundhttp://tpsonline.org/, and the Boeing Companyhttp://www.boeing.com/boeing/.
