Mystery board in a TS2100

Have a TS2100 I am installing a Heol Design GPS board in.

There is an extra board between the Trimble board antenna connector  and
the antenna cable.

P/N is 172461A, has a pair of orange & white wires going to a three pin
header on the far side of the main board.

Any ideas?

Martin

perhaps for a bias tee to power the remote antenna, at a different voltage
than the Trimble board?

Hi;
I believe some of the Symmetricom GPS used 12VDC to power their antennas so that would be logical.
Most 5VDC GPS Antenna LNA's will accept the 12VDC.
