THIS WEEK IN TRI CLUB (November 8-14) and GFC WEEK 5 ROLL CALL!
In case you missed it... CONGRATULATIONS to Scott Fridy and Christina
Pitchford who both completed IRONMAN Florida this past weekend. And,
most amazingly, it was not the first IRONMAN this year for either of them!
Christy also completed IRONMAN Chattanooga in September and Scott completed
both IRONMAN Maryland in September plus IRONMAN Waco just two weeks earlier!
Also, a reminder... We're looking for runners and volunteers on
Thanksgiving morning... Let's make it a large Gator turnout for the
Thanksgiving morning CLUB EVENT, the Spring Valley YMCA "Gobble Wobble
5K" taking place on the Pope John II High School cross country course. At
last count we have 7 runners and 3 volunteers... Who would like to join us?
If you are available to volunteer or run, please indicate your interest
on our poll under "Announcements".
**This week's Gator Fitness Challenge "Roll Call" covers week 5 (November
1-7) that ended yesterday. **If you completed any of the three challenges
for either week, please post a comment...
- **"SBR" **if you completed the Swim/Bike/Run Challenge (30 minutes of
each) AND/OR...
-
"SCF" if you completed the Strength/Core/Flexibility Challenge (30
minutes total of any combination) AND/OR...
- **"Plank" **if you completed the progressive Plank Challenge that started
in week 1 at 15 seconds then has increased 15 seconds each week with last
week's plank being 1 minute, 15 seconds (this week's challenge is 1 minute,
30 seconds).

"All 3" if you were a week 4 superstar and completed all 3 challenges!
We also welcome more creative responses!
Also, this serves as your "This Week in Tri Club" post with a rundown of
the week's club activities that include an array of workout options and a
sponsor event!
