Hello:

In an effort to get moving on E310 development I attempted to follow the
instructions found here:

http://files.ettus.com/manual/page_usrp_e3x0.html

In attempting to follow them I downloaded the .bz and .sh files found here:

http://files.ettus.com/e3xx_images/current/

When I attempt to run the shell script

nodistro-eglibc-x86_64-gnuradio-dev-image-armv7ahf-vfp-neon-toolchain-nodistro.0.sh

that I downloaded from there on an Ubuntu 12.04 LTS system I get the
message,

Error: Installation machine not supported

This machine has an operational version of the UHD and GNU Radio on it.

Unless I am missing something there does not seem to be much more info
available on the E310 on the website to help with working with this device.

Any help would be appreciated.

OK,

So drilling down on this, it looks like the SDK is intended to be for 64
bit machines and if the kit SDK was for an ix86 it could also run on a 64
bit machine, but as it is it needs a 64 bit machine .... and the machine I
gave it was ix86 ...

I will proceed to give it a 64 bit machine, but keep my request that if
there is more documentation on the E310, it would be good to find a link to
it.
