how does OpenSCAD represent edges and how are spheres constructed?
Tue, Feb 20, 2018 1:55 AM
I noticed that it doesn't show edges for the top and bottom of the sphere... so then I took a look at the output of cylinder() and cube() modules. However if you create the same object with linear_extrude() using either circle() or square() as the primitive, the display in F5 shows all the triangles of the mesh.

Sunrise Bird Walk - Date Change
Fri, Mar 6, 2009 5:36 AM
Hi All, Just a quick note to all that the Sunrise Bird walk is taking place this Sunday the 8th and not Saturday the 7th as it had said on the website. Changes have been made there now. Apologies for any confusion - looks like a lovely day weather wise though! Luke Tiller, Wilton www.sunrisebirding.com

Those top Z values would >>> either all be the same as the bottom Z values of the next layer, or would >>> all be different.

It's easy to say, but as work progresses over the years, it is hard to revisit all aspects of the code and re-evaluate it. One has to adapt humbleness to the task, try to check as much as possible, but still accept that you can't find all the bugs. Often the need to finish new products on time comes before, flushing out all the new bugs.

Try walking around on top of a snare drum all day. Wound tight. Every pull meets no slack. Lee ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com

Hi Even using EL116's in die form on a thick film substrate, I've found it pretty hard to keep everything playing nice over a wide range of levels, distortion, and frequency.
