Re: T&T: Important - Attention All Foreign Flagged Cruising

So far, all the terrorists who have committed acts of violence within the USA, were admitted here on legal visas... Perhaps our efforts to complicate border crossings even more are misplaced... denny denny / k8do --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. a workaround is: for (a7=[ 6.8:1/5:7.800001]) echo(A7=a7); for (a=[ 7.2:1/5:8.2]) echo(A=a); -- View this message in context: http://forum.openscad.org/for-statement-doesn-t-do-all-the-steps-sometimes-tp19591p19592.html Sent from the OpenSCAD mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

Which leaves the most famous catch all - the Comment (which invariably gets misused for things not in the standard). If all parameters are keyword=text style, then only these few keywords need "standardizing".

Re: TWL: Need clarification on bleeding air from fuel lines
Wed, Feb 13, 2002 11:15 AM
You crack the tap on the tank side and simply watch for the fuel level to get to the top of the filter cylinder. Replace the top and you are done. No air, no bleed, no separate tank of top-up diesel, and little mess. Return all taps to normal operating position, final check for leaks, and you are off."

Bimini color
Tue, Sep 28, 2010 11:14 PM
Greg, I can't think you'd even questions using a black bimini top!!! You don't even see many if any of them on cars with convertible tops now, do you? While they used to advise NOT buying a black CAR in the far south, at least they are well insulated! Makes little difference what the underside is, it is the black top that will absorb heat!

Re: T&T: Tools for cruising

They are used in the oil and gas industry and are over the top expensive. But with patience one can find good deal on Ebay. I replaced all my 'larger' hand wrenches with these bronze ones (ala 12" - 15" pipe wrench, 8", 12" adjustable wrenches, etc.). And I keep a small 6" adjustable and slip pliers in the top drawer of the work bench.

Re: [OpenSCAD] How to separate a geometry having distinct objects ?
Sat, Jan 23, 2021 3:21 PM
If, for instance, you wanted to take a sphere, cut the top half from the bottom half, and separate the two halves, the only way to do it is to create *two* spheres, cut away the top half of one, and cut away the bottom half of the other. Now, because OpenSCAD is after all a programming environment, that doesn't mean that you have to type out both models.
