I have seen SLA's (in UPS's) 'shrivel' and get very hot as they die. I'll have to take a look at the 732A manual to see what it's battery construction looks like.

FWIW I can personally attest that with twin engines, it is very easy to come to a perfect parallel park..... 4 feet off the float. I do it all the time . Like Garret, I just have to get better at side walking. Joe -
