The circuitry inside is very obvious since it is all surface mount.

Receive is easy too if you have a micro with a comparator which can tell the difference between the two amplitude levels. I would extract the carrier first and feed it to another input of the micro to provide a phase reference and then do the decoding all in firmware.

How best to exchange Large files?
Mon, Feb 20, 2012 5:52 PM
I'm looking for a simple, fast and easy (and cheap) way to transfer large compressed data files of up to say a 100 MB between time-nuts. I know there are all kinds places one can store large files that others can then have access to, so I do not want to use the "OLD" way of breaking it up into many small pieces.

All of us hardware designers brought out test points that were easy to implement and then the microcontroller polled them and software was written to give error reports. We did what was easy on already finished board designs; not what would be optimum if designing from the ground up.

ould LeConte's Sparrow be fourth and Calliope seventh!" I railed silently in my mind. Then it dawned on me, I was being (as the Brits say) rather a Prat. The list is clearly just what it should be, the result of a cross section of the birders who responded, a summation of field ornithology and pure birding pleasure. In reality, it matters very little to me what birds are on the list, but it matters infinitely more that there are people who are interested enough to make the list in the first place. I do have one side thought though, when Frank sent the original email he accidently left House Sparrow on the missive when he cut and pasted. No criticism intended here, just read my blog if you want to see typos. But Roger Tory Peterson had a particular soft spot for House Sparrows, I wonder if he were still with us if he would voted for it? I wouldn't blame him if he did. Dave Provencher
