Here are a couple of websites for the respective product lines: http://www.jowa.se/products/oily/purifiner.htm http://www.puradyn.com/ I'm not really familiar with either but a comparison between your description and the installation instructions for the Puradyn product http://www.puradyn.com/pdf/TF_InstMan_030304.pdf indicate that it may have been installed

VHF Antenna Question
Thu, Feb 8, 2007 3:35 PM
It is mounted on the cabin top of my Nordhavn 47. A few feet away is a DA 8-foot 6 DB gain antenna also mounted on the cabin top at the same exact level. The antennas are mounted so there is no shadowing from one another or any other antenna or structure. The two antennas feed identical Standard Horizon QUEST VHF radios.

Some of the manufacturers' installation instructions or websites cover some of this and have tips. Try www.airmar.com who manufactures many of the transducers commonly used.

These units have two labels on the top of the unit - one large and one smaller. These units are programmable over a small range using the RS-232 interface. 2. The "1pps only units". These need only +15V on pin 1 and only have the 1pps output on pin6. These units have only the smaller label on the top of the unit.

'Lo All, If your home phone is listed in a phone book, Google will probably provide a nice drive-by photo of your home, complete with address and lat/long if you want. If you have a documented boat, someone can see the boat and check the name and port with the USCG's website and find your listed name and address.
