Marinas west of Mobile Bay to just the other side of New Orleans and many of those on Mobile Bay have been badly damaged, have no fuel, and/or no electricity or phone service. Some were totally destroyed. Marinas on the Tenn-Tom and Black Warrior Waterways for the most part are fully operational and have fuel.

Re: TWL: Need clarification on bleeding air from fuel lines
Wed, Feb 13, 2002 11:15 AM
You crack the tap on the tank side and simply watch for the fuel level to get to the top of the filter cylinder. Replace the top and you are done. No air, no bleed, no separate tank of top-up diesel, and little mess. Return all taps to normal operating position, final check for leaks, and you are off."

Bimini color
Tue, Sep 28, 2010 11:14 PM
Greg, I can't think you'd even questions using a black bimini top!!! You don't even see many if any of them on cars with convertible tops now, do you? While they used to advise NOT buying a black CAR in the far south, at least they are well insulated! Makes little difference what the underside is, it is the black top that will absorb heat!

Re: T&T: Tools for cruising

They are used in the oil and gas industry and are over the top expensive. But with patience one can find good deal on Ebay. I replaced all my 'larger' hand wrenches with these bronze ones (ala 12" - 15" pipe wrench, 8", 12" adjustable wrenches, etc.). And I keep a small 6" adjustable and slip pliers in the top drawer of the work bench.
