A great source of information about climate change impacts in the Northeast can be found at the website of the Union of Concerned Scientists. Their reports translate the science into easy to understand impacts that we are likely to see in the northeast included state by state summaries.

Does anybody have an idea for this? > You can do that, but probably you'll only save yourself a couple of microseconds, so probably it's not worth managing the complexities.

Re: [volt-nuts] Fluke 732A Questions
Mon, Dec 30, 2013 12:51 AM
All four were replaced and they have been working fine. The two older 732A's have thermistor values in the 3k-4k range. The newer unit (based on the newer heater rev) is around 4.25K. All three had their potentiometers changed on the regulator and pre-regulator boards. The datecodes on all appeared to be from 1985.

All I am trying to do is offer a choice. Anchoring smarter isn't the easy way out but to some it can be more rewarding. >For example, they know that sand is "good bottom."

http://www.mrrace.com/TrimbleGPS/BuildingTheMount.jpg To hold the GPS antenna in place at the top of the container, I cut a small aluminum plate, carefully drilled 3 holes for 2-56 hardware through the top of the container, using the aluminum plate as a template.

Re: [time-nuts] Frequency Counter Choice
Sat, Nov 7, 2020 2:08 AM
This slowly sweeps through all the phase-relationships between the reference oscillator and the counter input, thus sweeps the interpolator phase. It then chooses the calibration constant giving the lowest RMS error, as this is the best compensation for the hardware min-point. All this is free from memory.
