" quality > must be a US craftmanship problem. Nope! I'm the US craftsman using European plumbing parts, as instructed by the manufacturers. But I'm puzzled! First you tell me you have never seen an O-ring with a jamb nut in a heating system, and then you tell me that your system, presumably without any such O-ring seals, doesn't leak??? -Chuck Harris

Problem with Echo Canceller on PDAs (windows mobile 5.0 / Pocket PCs)
Tue, May 20, 2008 3:52 PM
If I were to describe what sort of sound problem I am encountering then it is as follows: when echo canceller is disabled, I get a good sense of converstation, i.e. both ends here each other well with a relatively good sound quality having very few or no drop outs at all. But ofcourse the echo is heard whenever headphones are not used on the PDAs.

TWL: RE: Comments on this amazing list and eBay stuff
Tue, Mar 6, 2001 5:12 PM
After reading all the discussion here about the Battery MINDer I thought that's what I wanted. I found several online for $49.95. Just on a whim, I typed in BATTERY MINDER on eBay and at the top of the returned list was a single Battery MINDer where the top bid was $25.00 and there was 45 SECONDS left!

Paint for lettering and Bootstrap
Tue, Jul 12, 2005 11:59 PM
I would consider a paint like Pettit Boot top paint, Brightside boot top striping or Toplac--all of which are recommended for Boot top and name painting. You must remove the old paint--at least to a point where you can get a good "grip" with the new paint.
