We did some research recently in anticipation of Wintering over in the Mobile area. Here is what we found: 1. .Dog River Marina- At the entrance of DogRiver & West shore of Mobile Bay. Working yard (you would have to check about owner doing work in their yard?), West Marine Store on site, open & some covered slips, fuel, resturant on site (I think?)

This means that we can now head into the Gulf of Mexico and ICW below Mobile AL during October since it appears that this is a light year for hurricanes. We are currently on a side trip on the Tennessee River to Chattanooga. When we return, we will immediately begin down the TennTomBigbee towards Mobile AL in October. R.
