Quaker Ridge 10/26: 90 Raptors inc Golden Eagle
Mon, Oct 27, 2014 1:54 AM
The bird was spotted at 10:38 being harassed by a Red-Tail over the Audubon Center. Tomorrow also looks promising with NW winds persisting but cloud cover might be minimal. Some extra eyes would certainly be helpful in order to spot as many birds as we can against blue sky.

Is the practical quality of a 10 Mhz reference determined by the quality of the fundamental or by the quality of the zero crossings?
Fri, Mar 24, 2023 1:24 PM
When using 10 MHz reference in a modern measurement device, is the lock on the reference done by direct conversion to a square wave (some simple digital circuit like a limiting amplifier) or are more advanced clock recovery approaches used that look only at the fundamental and use all information in the 10 MHz fundamental, just like the Phase Station is doing

n. However it would be convenient to have an > Bruce Hunter, KG6OJI. It only really confirms that the method works with bricks, not that it works in general. The bricks are extemely low noise in their own right and are locked with a narrow loop that prevents source noise from degrading them. Rick Karlquist N6RK
