Arachni is a high-performance (Open Source) Web Application Security Scanner Framework written in Ruby. The main focus of this release has been on bug-fixing and implementing a few feature requests.

I have a python hack that displays the status screen every N seconds and logs a bunch of parameters so you can feed them to gnuplot or the tools of your choice. It's a hack. The UI is to edit the source. -- These are my opinions.
