We have nylon zippers on a weblon top of our 46'er, they are now seven years old god bless them. The shop that made them was Lippincott Marine in St. Petersburg, FL, great shop. They gave me can of silicone spray for the zippers, its still on the boat and there is still some left.

. ___________________ We have a gray bimini top on our trawler which is docked in Palm City, FL. It has small spots on it which we think are mildew or algae but could be other crud of some sort. We don't want to use clorox to clean it since clorox might affect the color. Any suggestions of cleaners you have used would be appreciated. Kris

No top level geometry to render

I downloaded a script from Thingiverse to make spur gears but when I run it, an error is generated that says, “No top level geometry to render “. The script is copyrighted 2010, so I am guessing the Open Scad software has changed over the last 12 years and is causing the errors.

I was told that it was probably because I had been operating it through my inverter (Heart Freedom 20 modified sine wave). I replaced the power supply and added a UPS battery back up.
