Re: [time-nuts] Tait reference
Mon, Jan 11, 2016 8:55 AM
Hello, Tait T800 is a series of mobile radio repeaters, so probably the T801 could be a unit intended for iso-frequency networks, in which there are several repeaters are distributed in a wide area operating all at the same frequencies with a very tight tolerance. BNCs and 13.8V power supplies are very common in the mobile radio networks world.

If you want to port to a mobile app, you'll need to port PTLib which looks to be bit of a task.

These type of things should not happen--but realistically they do. " REPLY Well, Bob, I keep three radios going with all three monitored at the upper helm (16, 22, multi-scan), where I was. There was nothing going on, and I was about 1 mile from the USCG base. It was like they just decided to stay out of it altogether.

I use a LG VX4400 phone (G3 enabled) which I got from Verizon for $149.00, BEFORE their $100 mail in rebate, and I purchased their Mobile Office Kit for that phone for $63.00. The Mobile Office Kit gave me the cable to connect the phone to the laptop (USB cable), and their dialing and compression software.

Also I didn't have to sign a long-term contract with T-Mobile when I switched from AT&T. I'm on my third unlocked phone, a HP6340 which replaced my Sony-Ericsson P800 which replaced my S-E T68i. Now I'm thinking about going to a Windows Mobile Smartphone, mostly based on Jeffrey's enthusiasm. I never enter much data on my h6340 PDA phone.

Re: [volt-nuts] Fluke 732A Questions

All four were replaced and they have been working fine. The two older 732A's have thermistor values in the 3k-4k range. The newer unit (based on the newer heater rev) is around 4.25K. All three had their potentiometers changed on the regulator and pre-regulator boards. The datecodes on all appeared to be from 1985.
