Barrier Coat
Fri, Jan 24, 2014 2:34 PM
Having to 'unfreeze' them all. Would put in new ones except for the $. They all still work and the boat hasn't sunk the last forty-two years....knock on wood! Not going to change anything, but just wondering. Thanks in advance for any ideas/suggestions. Don Coleman M/V Mi Boudreaux Turner Marine At Dog River Mobile, Alabama

Re: Top 10 Trawlers/Great Harbour or Florida Bay?

The dry exhaust spewed black soot all over the snow white topsides. I think the stacks were probably too short or else of the wrong diameter so the stack velocity was too slow. The engine room was a dream as was the galley dinettee arrangement.. It makes me wonder why I saw the same boat for sale less than four years later. Anyway.

I do not anticipate heating North from Mobile until the beginning of May, however. From what I understand, much of the runoff will be finished by then. We can wait in Mobile until conditions warrant. Ben

If you miss this one you will have to walk all the way back to the Wards Island ferry dock. If arriving in early am you must obtain your ticket from a machine just inside the gate so be sure to have $1.00 and $2.00 and/or 25 cent coins before you arrive at the docks as there is no place to get change and the machine does not make change.

All fares are return fares. You will need these amounts in CHANGE. You obtain your ticket from a machine just inside the gate, so be sure to have $1.00 and $2.00 and/or 25 cent coins before you arrive at the docks as there is no reliable place to get change and the machine does not make change.

I guess if you've got lots of high dollar fishing gear, dive equipment, compressor, expensive crystal and china, clothing other than shorts & t-shirts, expensive musical instruments, rare books and coins, artwork, etc., etc., then add'l insurance might be necessary!
