Re: Dual Supplies for Low Offset Phase Noise Analyzer

With the die cast, you can mount everything on the “top cover” and have a solid ground. Like the end plate on the extrusion, it’s connection to the rest of the box is questionable. You can instead mount on the sloping sides and put up with it (which is my preference).

Re: GL: websites for rivers
Thu, Jul 10, 2008 10:59 PM
In response to the question about websites which are helpful while transiting the rivers, we found that the Army Corps of Engineers site which has a Hydrological Prediction Service Tab was most helpful in keeping track of the stage of each river.

Western Erie Clearances
Tue, Nov 19, 2013 3:11 PM
I know I am very close to the 15' 6" vertical clearance required here with our Kady Krogen Manatee. I would appreciate hearing from any other Manatee owners who have been through here re just how much room they had above their pilot house. I am wondering if I should remove the searchlight which extends about another 8" above the roof. Advice, experiences? Ken Allington, Auk Sent from my iPad

TWL: Re: Expensive jewelery?

The bottoms and top sides are kept clean(club rules) but they never move. One finger (50 footers or better) is referred to as the "Dock of the Dead" as that is where boats go to die. Some of the boats have permanently fixed motion detectors that sometimes go off at night and there is no one there but the ghosts of dead boats. Really spooky!

Sunday Cicada Excursion

We topped our Father’s Day Sundae with hundreds of these beauties dripping from the trees and shrubs (they seemed to be especially attracted to multiflora rose). Many were dead in the road; many more were still alive in the shrubbery, but were inactive (no mating seen). Perhaps the females have already deposited their eggs and were fixin’ to die.

China Continues to be Top Spot for Recruiting Students to U.S.

Schools should get on Renren, Sina Weibo and Youku, China's social networking websites, and may want to create their own Chinese sites, she said. Although many Chinese parents use Sina Weibo, fewer than 50 schools had accounts with it, so that's one opportunity, she said.
