I apologize for this correction but my prior post (10:49 PM) would misleading without it . I also saw about 20 tree sparrows in the sparrow flock in the Kelso Conservation Area today. [Ontbirds] Northern Shrike Feb 3

A Northern Shrike has been visiting the garden feeder area this winter, most recently Feb 3. The feeders are located on property on the west side of Ross Lake about 10 miles north of Belleville at 9632 Highway 62. 2 male and 1 female eastern bluebirds feed daily on bittersweet on same property. Seen by Robert and Cheryl Mound, RR4 Stirling

Also had a visit from the most beautiful gold finch ever.  It had a canary yellow head, black wings and completely white body.  Stayed for about 10 minutes then left. Carl Ekroth
