the radio equipment on board the vessel is only capable of operating on frequencies that are allocated for maritime mobile communications or marine radio navigation. You can verify whether the frequencies you use are in the maritime mobile band by referring to Radiocommunication Information Circular 13 (RIC-13).

They used to operate on both att and T-Mobile networks, but recently stopped offering Sim cards on the att network. The home phone service they now offer is basically a cell unit that you plug your regular phone into. You can port and keep your current number. I know all this because my wife and I recently moved to smart phones.

The energy at fc-f will have the same energy and be coherent to the energy at fc+f, so these energies add up perfectly. There is a special-case when you can't argue like this, but we can look the other way here and pick out the real reference literature when we need to.
