10/29 Milford, Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center 9:30am-1PM . overcast, mid-tide receding, 54F. Very busy at the center today with class visits and regular visitors. Class visits were on the inside, on the marsh and sanctuary grounds.

Charlestown Beach/breachway: Many Common Loons (at least 10) and F Common Eider in the breachway, fishing for crabs. The fishing was very good as the birds came up with a catch about every 2nd or 3rd dive. Only 1 M C.
