Lawrence Seaway to Montreal, but it's a relatively easy 2-3 day cruise back upstream on the Canadian side in lesser current back to Rockport, Gananoque (easy Customs re-entry at either via phone on a free dock) and Kingston for those wanting to proceed to the Trent Severn.

I-68 is an American form for Canadians and can be viewed and downloaded from the US government website. It too is intended to provide "easy" access to neighbouring ports. There are other means of visiting each other's countries, usually requiring to enter at regular or specially dedicated ports of entry (both sides).

The ferry prices are $7.00 (in coins) for an adult and $4:50 for seniors and students. All fares are return fares. You will need these amounts in CHANGE, to obtain your ticket from a machine,so be sure to have $1.00 and $2.00 and/or 25 cent coins before you arrive at the docks as there is no reliable place to get change.
