I categorically would not want to lose the ability/privilege to visit other
states and countries without having to register/pay taxes for the boat to be
there. (Not to be confused with registering and paying for short term visitor
permits in some foreign countries.)

What I do see looks like about #10 cable, which is
rated at 60 amps or 720 watts. That's probably a pretty realistic rating for
the unit.
If you drew even 2400 watts (200 amps @ 12 VDC) through #10, it would melt
the insulation within minutes.

Singapore – cruising permits for visiting yachts

The Singapore Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) issued a circular
advising that, from 1 July, owners of visiting yachts intending to
cruise in port waters must apply for a cruising permit and must be
equipped with either AIS or HARTS. Port Marine Circular No. 03 of
