Re: T&T: Brightside Boot Top

Thanks all for your help on the Boot Top. Today I mixed some (perhaps 1:7) Penetrol with the Boot Top and got amazing results. Maybe just maybe better with a little less Penetrol. It wetted out fine on both the primed and the Sterling surface, did not sag, lost its bubbles by itself and has a great reflection.

Re: GL: Easy storage of anchor rode
Sun, Jun 3, 2012 8:48 PM
The short length of chain piled on top keeps everything in its place. Rain and spray, or a bucket of water, washes the mud off the line. The rode is 150' long, more than adequate for most East Coast anchorages. Incidentally, my boat has weathered two hurricane near misses and one direct hit with this anchor gear without dragging.

Very Easy. $26 for one year. Go to https://www.pay.gov/public/form/start/1175233, select your payment method, and fill out the form. It pre-populates the $26 for you when you tell it you're a recreational vessel.
