Light Weight Outboard for 10' Zodiac Shoreboat
Fri, Jun 30, 2006 3:59 PM
The "new" boat stores a 10' Zodiac and O/B on the boat deck, and a typical trawler mast and boom arrangement lifts it in and out of the water. The O/B is an old Sears Game Fisher with 7.5 HP in large letters on the cowling. (I don't believe it, since it's a very light-weight single cylinder, and it doesn't move the boat as I think it should.)

Re: T&T: 2 10 30 Micron Filters??
Mon, Dec 31, 2007 3:08 PM
Flowscan instruments wants users to stick to 10 microns or larger. That implies that the micron size does influence the flow rate OR smaller micron sizes clog sooner and, therefore, affect the flow rate. As I recall, DD wants to see a 30 micron off-engine filter.

I would | suggest that lots of other listees have similar setup and I would ask if | anyone gets a different reading from a clean 2 or, 10 or 30 micron filter? | | I think this supports Racor's contention that the flow rate is the same.

Racors 2 micron vs 10 micron AKA belts and suspenders
