physical explanation of the tilt effect?
Sun, Sep 19, 2010 9:52 AM
The LTZ1000A is assembled with a thermally insulating die attach (ie epoxy to glue the die to the leadframe). What all of us is missing is the correct physical explanation, including my assumption, which is derived from the long time constant of the change only.

TWL: RE: What's a trawler?

The term 'trawler yacht' was probably coined by a marketing person, not an engineer, and therefore has no meaning other than some vague image in the consumers mind. Try to define Sport Utility Vehicle. Defever uses the tag line 'Overshore Cruiser' for the 44 Defever. What does that mean? I have no idea other than I like the sound of it.

I have two newish (6 month old or less) rx 580's, not running any advanced features like Eyenfinity or crossfire, no overclocking, not coin mining, etc. I will admit that I am more of an OS/Hardware/Server Software flavor of IT guy and GPU drivers are not on my nice list but to literally break overnight like that is beyond strange.

Re: [time-nuts] Loran?

The Oxford dictionary has "radar", "loran" and "scuba" all listed in lower case. Also according to them "radar" never was an acronym. It is a coined word. Technically to be an acronym the it must be spelled by the first letter of several other words.

Re: One oil for all engines

>All the Commercial ("C") oil that I would normally use meets or exceeds the >requirements of the Service Station grade ("S"). > Is that ok? Can the exceeding factor be a problem? In other words, can there be too much of a good thing in the "C" oil when used in a small gas engine? Thanks, Glen

My Survey - Lessons for All [Long]
Thu, May 6, 2004 4:24 AM
Lastly, listed electronics to include a Sitex loud hailer, a Northstar 951X DGPS, and a Northstar 800X LORAN all had moisture inside their LCD displays. They were on the bridge. The Sitex mike connector was badly corroded and the off/volume switch could not be turned.
