Racor 2 micron vs. 10 micron
Sat, Jul 1, 2006 11:02 PM
I use NAPA secondaries and was told they're 10 microns. I change the Racor filters twice a year and the secondaries once and have never had a fuel issue (knock on teak.........!!) I want the offensive front line doing all the work for my team ;-)) Jim @Home

Re: [time-nuts] Advice on 10 MHz isolation/distribution

I had to spend a couple days working on other parts of the design, but I am back at the 10 MHz circuit again.

Next future: - 10 to 5 MHz regenerative divider - test set for low phase noise measurements (classic 1 mixer type) - Thunderbolt my hw version assembly Bruce you right for input impedance actually is 35 Ohms, in the next version I will optimize it and I will tests some more devices type for lowering again the Phase noise.

Re: [time-nuts] 32768 Hz from 10 MHz

That makes a 1 clock wide clock pulse, 100 ns at 10 MHz. If you want a square clock, make a 2X clock and toggle a FF to divide by 2. It will have the right long term frequency, or at least as good as the input clock. It will have lots of jitter. It's not Gaussian type jitter but spurs.

PRS-10 Missing SP values in Appendix A.
Fri, Sep 13, 2019 6:12 AM
So I decided to give calibration/adjustment of my bench PRS-10 a go. What I discovered is that on my particular unit, the frequency was enough off that in order to bring it close to spec, I had to adjust the Mag Offset to the lower end of it's range (2300), and even then the set frequency was lower than I would have liked.

I was also surprised that the banded Barnacle Goose which was first seen in New York and then reappeared in Stratford and Westport did not show up in the Top 10 on this poll. Yes, we have seen many Barnacle Geese, relatively speaking, over the last 20 years. However, their origin was never known with certainty.

TWL: Listmeister away until May 10
Thu, Apr 27, 2000 11:40 AM
I'll provide a full report after my return on May 10. Site see: http://www.locaboat.com It will be my first holiday since starting Trawler World List almost three years ago during which I do not maintain email connectivity. I'm going without on purpose in order to have a genuine vacation.
